Kea Plums are a local specialty found only in the Fal River Valley The plums come in 4 colours. We grow the grey variety. It crops irregularly. Kea Plum juice is added to live Mother of Vinegar and left covered, undisturbed and open to air. After many months a part of the finished vinegar is drawn off quietly and bottled.
Kea Plum Cider Vinegar is 5.5% Acetic Acid, unfiltered, unpasteurized, contains live Mother of Vinegar and may be cloudy or form sediment. This is natural.
Use in gravies, condiments, dressings, salsas, marinades, , soups, braising stocks, chilaquiles, baked beans, pickled vegetables, scrambled eggs and cheese on toast.
